Rowland Freedom Center

Rowland Freedom Center is a nonprofit aviation and military museum located at the Nut Tree Airport in Vacaville. Its mission centers on honoring military service members and teaching visitors, including kids, about freedom and patriotism through its exhibits and displays. One highlight is a restored 1912 Gonzalez Flyer aircraft that has been raised on display, along with a Donor Wall that tells the stories of people who support the museum. The museum has an on-site store and hosts events throughout the year, though it closes to the public on scheduled event days, so checking the calendar before a visit is a good idea. The front entrance area is currently under renovation as part of an ongoing improvement project.
