Port Townsend Aero Museum

This aviation museum near the Port Townsend airport displays a collection of antique and classic aircraft, some of which are still flown when airworthy. Visitors can see the in-house restoration work carried out by a team of mechanics and volunteers who also take on contract restoration projects. A notable feature for families is the youth mentorship program, where young adults get hands-on experience helping with aircraft restoration and flight operations alongside experienced staff. The museum is a community-supported nonprofit that moved into its current facility in 2008 after years of fundraising.
