About this placeTillamook Air Museum is housed in Hangar B, a wooden airship hangar built in 1943 for Navy patrol blimps during World War II, and displays more than 25 historic aircraft along with exhibits on the base's coastal defense history. Kids and parents can wander the hangar floor to see vintage planes up close, browse the gift shop, and read about the K-class airships once stationed there. Guided tours are available for groups of 10 or more with advance booking, and a family pass covering two adults and up to four children under 17 costs $65. Parking accommodates cars, motorcycles, buses, and RVs, though only service animals are allowed inside the museum itself, with a leashed dog walk area available outside.
