Idaho Falls Zoo

Idaho Falls Zoo sits on about 10 developed acres inside Tautphaus Park and is home to roughly 130 species from around the world, earning it the nickname the Best Little Zoo in the West. Kids can explore the newer Islands exhibit, which adds fresh animal habitats along with an interactive playground area. The zoo is also home to snow leopards Lenny and Pandora, part of its conservation efforts, plus a range of other wildlife across its accredited grounds. Nearby, Funland at the Zoo offers a restored historic amusement area that reopens seasonally each spring, and teens can apply for the Junior Zoo Crew program for hands-on zoo experience.
