About this place
A nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving heirloom seeds and traditional food crops. Families can visit Heritage Farm in Decorah, Iowa, where the organization maintains a working seed bank and holds both virtual and in-person events throughout the year. Visitors learn from staff members and experienced growers about seed saving and heritage varieties, with opportunities to explore the farm and connect with others interested in growing and cooking with these traditional plants.
