About this placeThe Roseville Historical Society runs the Carnegie Library Museum, a small history museum housed in a restored century-old Carnegie library building. Families can look at displays covering local railroad heritage, including a model train collection, along with military artifacts, old musical instruments, vintage kitchen appliances and medical tools. It is a quiet, browsing-style visit rather than a hands-on children's museum, good for kids curious about how the town looked in its pioneer and railroad days. The museum is open to the public daily from noon to 4 pm, Monday through Saturday, and admission is free, with local history books also available for purchase.
A membership to Roseville Historical Society carries reciprocal admission, so the same card is worth free or discounted entry at other places in this program.
Reciprocal programs are built for travel and most exclude places close to the one where you hold your membership, so this is worth the most when you are away from home. How reciprocal memberships work
