About this placeOberlin Heritage Center is a local history museum made up of three historic buildings: the 1866 Monroe House, the 1836 Little Red Schoolhouse, and the 1884 Jewett House with its old barn. Kids and families can join guided tours of these buildings or take part in city history walks that explore Oberlin's role in education and social equality. The center also runs youth and adult educational programs, special events, and research services for those curious about local history. Self-guided tours, the office, and the gift store are open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 am to 3 pm, with other visits available by appointment.
A membership to Oberlin Heritage Center carries reciprocal admission, so the same card is worth free or discounted entry at other places in this program.
Reciprocal programs are built for travel and most exclude places close to the one where you hold your membership, so this is worth the most when you are away from home. How reciprocal memberships work
