About this place
A museum in Sandusky devoted to the history and artistry of American carousels. Families can view hand-carved carousel animals, restored figures from different eras, and vintage band organs on display. The building itself is historic, housed in a former post office. Volunteers work in an on-site restoration workshop, occasionally demonstrated during special events, where carousel pieces are repaired and carved using traditional techniques.
