A restored brick tavern from 1819 in Gallipolis, Ohio, where visitors can tour the taproom, dining room, ballroom and other period rooms that show how travelers were hosted in the early 1800s. The building is notable for having entertained the Marquis de Lafayette during his 1825 visit to America. A summer kitchen and courtyard are also part of the site. Tours typically take about an hour.
A membership to Our House Tavern carries reciprocal admission, so the same card is worth free or discounted entry at other places in this program.
Reciprocal programs are built for travel and most exclude places close to the one where you hold your membership, so this is worth the most when you are away from home. How reciprocal memberships work
