A museum housed in the former home of Thomas Riley Marshall, Indiana's 28th Vice President, located in Columbia City. The building contains artifacts, documents, and photographs that explore both Marshall's life and the broader history of Whitley County. Visitors can tour the main house, an annex, and outbuilding, join guided tours and programs, and use research services to investigate genealogy and local history. The Research Center, now the main entrance, handles tour bookings and remote research inquiries.
A membership to Whitley County Historical Museum carries reciprocal admission, so the same card is worth free or discounted entry at other places in this program.
Reciprocal programs are built for travel and most exclude places close to the one where you hold your membership, so this is worth the most when you are away from home. How reciprocal memberships work
