Free or discounted entry for members of Time Travelers.
The oldest building still standing in Fort Lauderdale, built in 1901 by the city's founding father and his wife. Families tour the restored wood-frame house with its wide porches and river views, learning about the Stranahan family and early Fort Lauderdale history from trained guides. The house once served as a trading post, post office, and town hall. Tours run five to six days a week; advance booking is recommended, and the last tour starts at 3:15pm on operating days.
A membership to Historic Stranahan House Museum carries reciprocal admission, so the same card is worth free or discounted entry at other places in this program.
Reciprocal programs are built for travel and most exclude places close to the one where you hold your membership, so this is worth the most when you are away from home. How reciprocal memberships work
