This is the national museum dedicated to Danish-American history, art, and culture. Visitors explore exhibits about Danish immigration to the United States and the connections between the two countries. The museum sits on grounds that include a restored native tallgrass prairie, which families can view through an interpretive display inside or experience directly outdoors. The site also features a live camera feed of the prairie landscape for remote viewing. The museum presents changing exhibitions and programming alongside its permanent collections.
A membership to Museum of Danish America carries reciprocal admission, so the same card is worth free or discounted entry at other places in this program.
Reciprocal programs are built for travel and most exclude places close to the one where you hold your membership, so this is worth the most when you are away from home. How reciprocal memberships work
