About this place

A Federal-era house and garden in Georgetown that belonged to descendants of Martha Washington. The property spans five and a half acres and contains thousands of decorative objects, including one of the largest collections of George Washington memorabilia outside Mount Vernon. Guided tours tell the stories of the six generations who lived here, and the museum addresses the difficult history of enslaved people who worked on the estate. Families can explore both the house and its grounds.

If you are a member here

A membership to Tudor Place Historic House and Garden carries reciprocal admission, so the same card is worth free or discounted entry at other places in these programs.

Reciprocal programs are built for travel and most exclude places close to the one where you hold your membership, so this is worth the most when you are away from home. How reciprocal memberships work
