Free or discounted entry for members of Time Travelers.
A museum in a restored 1899 firehouse that was Houston's first fire station. Children can visit the Junior Firefighter Station to try on protective gear, slide down a fire pole, play fire safety games, and meet a life-size Lego firefighter. The building itself is part of the experience, with exhibits highlighting the original masonry, woodwork, and windows. The museum also runs guided tours and hosts birthday parties. A gift shop sells fire department memorabilia and souvenirs.
A membership to Houston Fire Museum carries reciprocal admission, so the same card is worth free or discounted entry at other places in this program.
Reciprocal programs are built for travel and most exclude places close to the one where you hold your membership, so this is worth the most when you are away from home. How reciprocal memberships work
