A museum in downtown Houston centerd on ten restored historic houses in Sam Houston Park, spanning the city's history from before it became a state through the early twentieth-century oil boom. Families can tour the buildings to see period furnishings and learn how Houston's earliest residents lived, join activities designed for children, and hear stories from experts about the people who built the city. The site also hosts a gallery with rotating exhibits, including a current digital art display about Latino artists in Houston.

Reciprocal programs are built for travel and most exclude places close to the one where you hold your membership, so this is worth the most when you are away from home. How reciprocal memberships work
