About this placeDeepwood Museum & Gardens is a historic house museum in Salem with gardens that families can explore, offering guided home tours at set times (9:00, 10:00, 11:00, and noon) and gardens open from sunrise to sunset. Throughout the year the estate hosts seasonal events that appeal to kids and parents alike, including trick-or-treating on the grounds each Halloween and a holiday market in November. The site also runs occasional workshops and activities, such as outdoor yoga sessions and craft classes, giving families more reasons to visit beyond the standard tour. The property is maintained by the nonprofit Friends of Deepwood in partnership with the City of Salem.
A membership to Historic Deepwood Estate carries reciprocal admission, so the same card is worth free or discounted entry at other places in this program.
Reciprocal programs are built for travel and most exclude places close to the one where you hold your membership, so this is worth the most when you are away from home. How reciprocal memberships work
