About this place
Dixon Gallery and Gardens combines an art museum with a seventeen-acre public garden in Memphis, giving families both indoor exhibits and outdoor space to explore. The museum's collection includes French and American Impressionist paintings and German and English porcelain, with eight to ten rotating exhibitions each year. Outside, the grounds feature formal gardens, woodland tracts, and cutting gardens that kids can wander through, and a family scavenger hunt guide is available for spotting different textures around the property. The site also runs youth art programs and educational classes, and families can grab a bite at the on-site cafe, Park and Cherry.
