Free or discounted entry for members of AHS Garden Network.
A botanical garden and arboretum at South Dakota State University in Brookings with over 41,000 plants arranged across multiple themed spaces. Families can walk accessible paths through gardens that change with the seasons, from spring blooms to summer color to autumn foliage. The garden hosts free admission community days on the fourth Wednesday of each month from May through October, and also runs family-friendly events including an insect festival. An on-site visitor center provides information about the gardens.
A membership to McCrory Gardens carries reciprocal admission, so the same card is worth free or discounted entry at other places in this program.
Reciprocal programs are built for travel and most exclude places close to the one where you hold your membership, so this is worth the most when you are away from home. How reciprocal memberships work
