Free or discounted entry for members of AHS Garden Network.
A 44-acre public garden on the grounds of a historic nursery, five minutes from downtown Knoxville. Families walk the trails through display gardens, past distinctive stone walls and preserved historic buildings. The Howell House Visitors Center has a gift shop and restrooms. The garden is free and open every day of the year. Throughout the year, the garden hosts community events including evening drawing sessions, outdoor concerts, and volunteer opportunities where families can help with upkeep or participate in seasonal celebrations.
A membership to Knoxville Botanical Garden and Arboretum carries reciprocal admission, so the same card is worth free or discounted entry at other places in this program.
Reciprocal programs are built for travel and most exclude places close to the one where you hold your membership, so this is worth the most when you are away from home. How reciprocal memberships work
