Free or discounted entry for members of NARM.
A botanical garden covering 34 acres in the Berkeley hills with over 10,000 kinds of plants from around the globe. Families can walk through distinct plant communities, from California redwoods to African deserts to Central American cloud forests, seeing rare and endangered species alongside familiar plants. The garden offers classes and virtual lectures on topics like drought-resistant plants and how different species adapt to their native climates. A plant shop sells seeds, seedlings and garden-themed gifts throughout the year.
A membership to UC Botanical Garden at Berkeley carries reciprocal admission, so the same card is worth free or discounted entry at other places in this program.
Reciprocal programs are built for travel and most exclude places close to the one where you hold your membership, so this is worth the most when you are away from home. How reciprocal memberships work
