A Spanish Colonial Revival house in Montecito from the 1920s and 1930s, now open as a museum. Families can tour the restored rooms and see a collection of fifteenth and sixteenth century Spanish art and decorative pieces that belonged to the original owner, an industrialist. The grounds include gardens designed in a mix of Country Place and Moorish styles. Rotating exhibitions display metalsmithing equipment, woodworking tools, antique books, and architectural drawings from the estate's history.
A membership to Casa del Herrero carries reciprocal admission, so the same card is worth free or discounted entry at other places in this program.
Reciprocal programs are built for travel and most exclude places close to the one where you hold your membership, so this is worth the most when you are away from home. How reciprocal memberships work
