About this place

Canada's largest botanical garden, spread across more than 2,000 acres in the Burlington and Hamilton area near Lake Ontario. Families can walk through formal gardens including Hendrie Park, with its varied plantings and garden styles, and the historic Rock Garden built in 1932. There are 27 kilometres of nature trails to explore, four main starting points for walks, and two places to launch canoes. An indoor Mediterranean Garden is also on site. Children 17 and under receive free daytime admission during summer months through the Canada Strong Pass program.

If you are a member here

A membership to Royal Botanical Gardens carries reciprocal admission, so the same card is worth free or discounted entry at other places in this program.

Reciprocal programs are built for travel and most exclude places close to the one where you hold your membership, so this is worth the most when you are away from home. How reciprocal memberships work
