A 400-acre collection of woody plants on the grounds of the University of Guelph, open daily from dawn to dusk. The Arboretum holds more than 1700 different species arranged in themed sections, with notable groupings of oaks, beeches, maples, and conifers. Families can walk the grounds, explore using an interactive map, and join public programs throughout the year. The site also functions as a living laboratory for research and conservation work focused on Ontario's native trees and shrubs.
A membership to The Arboretum, University of Guelph carries reciprocal admission, so the same card is worth free or discounted entry at other places in this program.
Reciprocal programs are built for travel and most exclude places close to the one where you hold your membership, so this is worth the most when you are away from home. How reciprocal memberships work
