Free or discounted entry for members of AHS Garden Network.
A botanic garden in Shoreline with native and rare plants spread across the grounds. Families can walk the trails, watch for birds, have a picnic, and let children play in the garden space. There is a wooden play structure designed by an artist, a boardwalk with views up into the trees, and a stream with ponds to explore. The on-site nursery sells plants from the collection. The garden hosts seasonal events including outdoor concerts and craft workshops where visitors can make things like leaf-cast ornaments or herbal balms.
A membership to Kruckeberg Botanic Garden carries reciprocal admission, so the same card is worth free or discounted entry at other places in this program.
Reciprocal programs are built for travel and most exclude places close to the one where you hold your membership, so this is worth the most when you are away from home. How reciprocal memberships work
