About this place
Cape May County Park Zoo is a free county zoo where kids can watch animals in outdoor habitats and explore extras like an animal carousel, penny souvenir machines, and a photo booth near the exit. Just outside the zoo entrance, the park has two playgrounds, including a toddler area by the bandstand and a larger playground with swings across from the courtyard. Younger visitors can also feed pellets to animals at the farmyard and duck ponds through coin-operated machines. The wider park adds a stocked fishing pond, picnic pavilions for rent, and a separate Tree to Tree aerial rope course for older kids and adults. Zoo hours run 10am to 4:30pm in summer and 10am to 3:30pm in winter, and pets are not allowed anywhere on the grounds.
