About this place
Alabama Safari Park is a 350-acre drive-thru safari in Hope Hull, just off I-65 near Montgomery. Families drive their own vehicle along miles of safari road to feed animals right from the car, then park and walk through Safari Village for more exhibits and up-close encounters, including special behind-the-scenes visits with sloths, giraffes, and an Aldabra tortoise. One admission covers both the drive-thru and the village, and guests can leave and return the same day with their receipt. Each carload gets a free color guidebook, and active or retired military get $2 off admission. Hours change by season, generally 9am to 3 or 4pm with the last vehicle allowed out an hour after closing, and guests must stay inside their vehicle during the drive-thru portion.
