The Preserve at Animal Adventure

The Preserve is a drive-thru wildlife park spread across 100 acres in upstate New York, letting families explore three miles of roadway in their own vehicle. Kids and parents pass through themed paddocks such as Aussie Eurasia, The Americas, and Africa & Giants of Africa, getting close to hundreds of animals that roam freely and choose whether to approach cars. Visitors can offer the animals fortified diets as part of the interactive experience, and staff can share stories about the many animal ambassadors who came from rescue or surrender situations. The park is a sister site to Animal Adventure Park and is licensed by the USDA and New York State agencies, with the season opening April 25, 2026, running daily from 10 am to 5 pm with last car entry at 3 pm.
