Free or discounted entry for members of ROAM.
A community arts organization in Philadelphia dedicated to preserving and sharing Puerto Rican culture and that of other Latino communities. Families can visit galleries showing work by local artists, browse a bilingual bookstore specialising in Puerto Rican and Latin American writing and crafts, and join workshops and guided tours. The organization also runs after-school and youth artist programs, hosts a yearly street festival called Feria del Barrio, and maintains an archive of Puerto Rican and Latinx history resources available for research.
A membership to Taller Puertorriqueno carries reciprocal admission, so the same card is worth free or discounted entry at other places in this program.
Reciprocal programs are built for travel and most exclude places close to the one where you hold your membership, so this is worth the most when you are away from home. How reciprocal memberships work
