Free or discounted entry for members of ROAM, NARM.
This museum in Pinedale focuses on the Rocky Mountain fur trade of the early 1800s, particularly the interaction between Plains Indian and Mountain Man cultures during that period. Visitors can see exhibitions of Western art, including a current show featuring 87 works by 45 artists exploring this historical encounter. The museum also holds a yearly Western Art and Wine Auction each summer in connection with the Green River Rendezvous, where families can browse artworks and bid on items while enjoying food, wine, and live entertainment from a cowboy poet. The museum was founded in 1990 and operates in partnership with Sublette County.
A membership to Museum of the Mountain Man carries reciprocal admission, so the same card is worth free or discounted entry at other places in these programs.
Reciprocal programs are built for travel and most exclude places close to the one where you hold your membership, so this is worth the most when you are away from home. How reciprocal memberships work
