About this place
This West Palm Beach science center and aquarium (now branded Cox Science Center and Aquarium) offers hands-on exhibits, a splash pad for water play, and an outdoor Science Trail for kids to explore. Current attractions include Sean Kenney's Brick Planet, an exhibit of large sculptures built entirely from LEGO bricks, running through September 2026. Families can catch live science shows and STEM activities offered at various times throughout the day, plus occasional observatory programming on select days. It is open year-round except Thanksgiving and Christmas, with hours from 9am to 5pm on weekdays and 10am to 6pm on weekends, and children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult.
