About this place
A zoo in Wichita housing over 3,000 animals from nearly 400 species. The animals live in exhibits designed to mirror their natural habitats, grouped by geography, and arranged so families can walk among plants and creatures for a close-up learning experience. The zoo has won national recognition for breeding rare and endangered species and supporting field conservation work. Note that the Elephant Barn is currently closed to the public.
