Free or discounted entry for members of AZA Reciprocal Admissions.
A zoo in Hutchinson, Kansas, featuring animals from the plains and beyond. Families can ride the Prairie Thunder Railroad, visit a petting farm, explore a nature playscape called Splash River, and see prairie dogs up close through tunnels and acrylic bubbles. The zoo also has a Kansas Wildlife Aviary and displays animals with special survival adaptations. Educational programs run throughout the year, and the zoo holds a large Halloween event called Boo at the Zoo. The site sits in Historic Carey Park and has been operating in its current location since 1986.
A membership to Hutchinson Zoo carries reciprocal admission, so the same card is worth free or discounted entry at other places in this program.
Reciprocal programs are built for travel and most exclude places close to the one where you hold your membership, so this is worth the most when you are away from home. How reciprocal memberships work
