Free or discounted entry for members of AZA Reciprocal Admissions.
A zoo in Manhattan, Kansas, with over 150 animals including tigers, leopards, otters, maned wolves, and primates. Families can view the animals up close across different themed areas such as Expedition Asia. The zoo sits on hilly terrain with some steep sections, though accessible pathways exist and staff will provide rides back to the entrance for guests who need them. Water refill stations are scattered throughout, and a gift shop sells drinks and souvenirs.
A membership to Sunset Zoo carries reciprocal admission, so the same card is worth free or discounted entry at other places in this program.
Reciprocal programs are built for travel and most exclude places close to the one where you hold your membership, so this is worth the most when you are away from home. How reciprocal memberships work
