A zoo and natural history museum with hundreds of animals from around the world. Families can see red wolves, lions, rhinos, penguins, and giraffes across outdoor and indoor exhibits. The site also features South Dakota's largest public saltwater aquarium and a butterfly conservatory. Visitors can feed giraffes on certain days, and the grounds offer shaded walking paths throughout.
A membership to Great Plains Zoo carries reciprocal admission, so the same card is worth free or discounted entry at other places in this program.
