An art museum located on the Santa Fe plaza that opened in 1917 as New Mexico's first building dedicated to art. The main galleries display paintings, sculpture, and other works, with changing exhibitions throughout the year. A second location, Vladem Contemporary in the Santa Fe Railyard Arts District, shows contemporary art. Families can visit the galleries, attend curator talks about featured artists, and children's educational programs are available. The main building's architecture itself reflects Pueblo Revival style, designed to echo the historic adobe churches across New Mexico.
A membership to New Mexico Museum of Art carries reciprocal admission, so the same card is worth free or discounted entry at other places in this program.
Reciprocal programs are built for travel and most exclude places close to the one where you hold your membership, so this is worth the most when you are away from home. How reciprocal memberships work
