A museum in Santa Fe dedicated to Southwest Indigenous cultures, their histories, and their contemporary creative work. Visitors explore exhibitions featuring ceramics, jewelry, paintings, and clothing from the museum's collection, including pieces that span from traditional to modern artistic styles. Current shows examine how Indigenous peoples of the region have observed the sky for meaning and timing, and how Native artists have reinterpreted symbols like the American flag as expressions of identity, survival, and cultural identity across generations.
A membership to Museum of Indian Arts & Culture carries reciprocal admission, so the same card is worth free or discounted entry at other places in this program.
Reciprocal programs are built for travel and most exclude places close to the one where you hold your membership, so this is worth the most when you are away from home. How reciprocal memberships work
