Free or discounted entry for members of NARM.
A museum in New Bedford exploring the history of whaling and maritime life through art, history, and science. Visitors can board a half-scale model of a whaling ship and walk beneath full skeletons of four whale species to compare their sizes. The museum displays art inspired by ocean life, hosts live music and gallery talks, and runs hands-on activities throughout the year. Family programs include special drop-in activities and squid dissections during summer months.
A membership to New Bedford Whaling Museum carries reciprocal admission, so the same card is worth free or discounted entry at other places in this program.
Reciprocal programs are built for travel and most exclude places close to the one where you hold your membership, so this is worth the most when you are away from home. How reciprocal memberships work
