A museum in downtown Ventura dedicated to the region's history, art, and culture. Families can explore exhibitions about local people and places, from forgotten community figures to historical photography, and browse reproductions of archival images available as prints, albums, and cards. The museum runs educational programs and events throughout the year designed to deepen understanding of Ventura County's past and present. Admission is free in August.
A membership to Museum of Ventura County carries reciprocal admission, so the same card is worth free or discounted entry at other places in this program.
Reciprocal programs are built for travel and most exclude places close to the one where you hold your membership, so this is worth the most when you are away from home. How reciprocal memberships work
