This seasonal monorail ride takes families through a re-created Asian wilderness within the Bronx Zoo, with tour guides pointing out animals along the way such as red pandas, elephants, rhinos, tigers, markhor goats, and babirusa pigs. Because there are no walls of glass or bars, kids can view these animals in open, naturalistic habitats up close. The ride runs May through October and is included with regular zoo admission, though guests with the Limited Admission ticket pay an extra $7 per person. Strollers must be parked and left before boarding, and wait times can run long since the line may close once it hits about 30 minutes.
