About this place
The Military Aviation Museum in Virginia Beach houses one of the world's largest collections of airworthy vintage military aircraft, with more than 50 restored World War I and World War II planes spread across a 130-acre airport site. Kids can see the historic planes up close in static displays, watch flying demonstrations, and even take a ride in a WWII aircraft. The grounds also include restored historic structures, and the museum hosts air shows, school programs, scouting and youth group visits, and birthday parties. Admission is 17 dollars for adults, 15 dollars for seniors, military, and teachers, 10 dollars for youth ages 5 to 13, and free for children 4 and under as well as members and WWII veterans.
