About this place
A contemporary art museum housed in a former textile mill and factory complex, with 300,000 square feet of gallery space spread across a historic industrial campus. Families can see large-scale installations, paintings, sculpture, and photography, along with performances including dance, theater, and music throughout the year. The museum also runs public programs that bring together artists and visitors for creative activities. The grounds include indoor and outdoor performance spaces, artist studios, cafes serving ice cream and coffee, and a shop. North Adams also has parks and restaurants nearby for a longer visit.
