A small museum housed in an 1890s coal miner's cottage in Old Town Lafayette, Colorado. The museum tells the story of the area's past through mining and farming heritage, the historic Lincoln Highway, and the town's growth into a modern city. Families can explore exhibits with original artifacts, join guided or self-directed tours, and attend youth-focused walking tours that cover local history. The museum also runs educational programs and field trips for students. Entry is by donation.
A membership to Lafayette History Museum carries reciprocal admission, so the same card is worth free or discounted entry at other places in this program.
Reciprocal programs are built for travel and most exclude places close to the one where you hold your membership, so this is worth the most when you are away from home. How reciprocal memberships work
