A museum dedicated to American decorative arts from the 1700s onwards, housed in a restored nineteenth-century building in Lancaster. The galleries display rotating collections of furniture, ceramics, textiles, glass, metalwork, and folk art, alongside contemporary design and craft. Families can visit exhibitions, attend gallery talks, and join art classes. The center also runs lectures and workshops for both children and adults, and hosts a biennial exhibition of work by emerging and established craftspeople.
A membership to Decorative Arts Center of Ohio carries reciprocal admission, so the same card is worth free or discounted entry at other places in this program.
Reciprocal programs are built for travel and most exclude places close to the one where you hold your membership, so this is worth the most when you are away from home. How reciprocal memberships work
