About this placeThis is a WWII-era aircraft hangar and museum in San Marcos where kids can walk among seven vintage warplanes, including the Bell P-39Q Airacobra, the B-25J Yellow Rose bomber and the C-47 known as That's All Brother. Families can browse the museum and gift shop, and the Wing also runs an Aviation Discovery Fest, a hands-on program built for students ages 6 to 17 to learn about flight history. For a special outing, visitors can arrange a Living History Flight Experience aboard one of the historic planes, though some restrictions apply. The museum is open Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from 9 am to 4 pm, and admission is free, with donations accepted to help maintain the aircraft.
