About this place
Wild Haven Animal Experience is a guided-encounter venue near Spokane in Medical Lake, Washington, where kids get up close with otters, capybaras, and quill-covered creatures like porcupines instead of just walking past enclosures. Trained staff lead each visit with a focus on safety, education, and animal care, letting children touch, watch, and interact with the animals during structured sessions. The lineup of residents can change over time, so no two visits are exactly the same. It works well for birthday parties and family outings, and the website also offers free printable otter and capybara coloring pages for a screen-free activity at home.
