About this place
A museum in central Wichita holding more than 10,000 artworks spanning American art from historical to contemporary periods. Families can browse the permanent collection and rotating exhibitions, join guided or self-guided tours, and take part in hands-on art activities and camps. The museum runs educational programs for children and occasionally hosts evening events featuring artists and performers. Admission is free for military families during summer months through the Blue Star Museums program, and the Sunflower Summer scheme offers complimentary entry to school-age children.
