An exciting new addition to the New England cultural landscape, the Westerly Museum of American Impressionism is located in the seaside town of Westerly, Rhode Island. Established by philanthropists and art collectors Cynthia and Thomas Sculco, the museum is dedicated to collecting, preserving, interpreting, and exhibiting works of American Impressionism from the 1880s-1920s. Through engaging exhibitions and educational initiatives, the museum seeks to inspire and enrich lives by celebrating this vibrant art movement. Within the museum’s eleven galleries, visitors can explore vibrant masterpieces by celebrated artists such as Childe Hassam, Jane Peterson, Lilla Cabot Perry and John Singer Sargent, alongside paintings by lesser-known talents who merit greater recognition.
A membership to Westerly Museum of American Impressionism carries reciprocal admission, so the same card is worth free or discounted entry at other places in this program.
Reciprocal programs are built for travel and most exclude places close to the one where you hold your membership, so this is worth the most when you are away from home. How reciprocal memberships work
