A zoo occupying 135 acres in Druid Hill Park, focused on giving families direct contact with animals and fostering understanding of wildlife conservation. Visitors walk outdoor grounds to observe animals, though creatures may retreat to off-exhibit areas during the day and won't always be visible. The zoo is outdoors year-round with no refunds for weather, and certain items like balls, bicycles, and glass containers are not allowed on the grounds.
