An art museum in Washington, DC, with a permanent collection spanning from the 1850s onwards. Visitors see paintings by Impressionist masters like Monet, Renoir, and Pissarro, followed by modern works including pieces by Picasso, Kandinsky, and Miro. The collection emphasizes European and American artists of the twentieth century, with particular strength in works by Washington-based painters. Sculpture occupies three distinct outdoor areas: terraces and a garden displaying pieces by artists such as Henry Moore, Isamu Noguchi, and George Rickey. The museum also holds significant artworks from African and Asian traditions.
A membership to The Kreeger Museum carries reciprocal admission, so the same card is worth free or discounted entry at other places in this program.
Reciprocal programs are built for travel and most exclude places close to the one where you hold your membership, so this is worth the most when you are away from home. How reciprocal memberships work
