The Exotic Resort Zoo is a drive-through and guided-tour safari park on 137 acres in the Texas Hill Country, home to more than 700 animals across over 50 species. Families can explore either by driving their own vehicle through the park, letting animals approach right up to the windows, or by joining a tractor-pulled guided tour where a staff member points out animals and shows kids how to interact with them safely, including time in a petting zoo area. The park is open daily from 9am to 5pm, with last entry recommended by 4:30pm, and closes only on Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day, with adjusted hours on New Year's Eve and Day. Overnight safari cabins are available on site for families wanting to extend their visit. Dogs, including service animals, are not permitted anywhere in the park.
